What is a good recovery afternoon at Exhale?
Start with heat in the Full Spectrum Sauna, take a short round in the Cold Plunge, then put your feet up in the compression boots. Finish in the tea room with a warm cup. Many guests stack these into one visit, so just ask when you book.
How long should I spend in the sauna?
Sessions in our Full Spectrum Sauna run 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The infrared heat feels gentler than a traditional sauna, so you can stay, breathe and unwind. Drink water before you go in.
Should I plunge after the sauna?
Many guests do. Going from heat to cold is the idea behind contrast therapy, and you can cycle between the two at your own pace. First-timers are coached on breathing and stay in only as long as feels right.
Why add compression boots?
Compression boots inflate and release in waves up your legs. Pressure is adjustable, and most guests find the rhythm soothing enough to close their eyes. People book them for heavy, tired legs after training or a long day on their feet.
Can I spend time in the tea room afterward?
Yes. The tea room is open whenever we are. Stay for a cup, browse the loose leaf teas and herbs, or just sit for a while. You can take tea home too.
If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or have any other health concerns, check with your doctor before you book.
When can I book a recovery afternoon?
We are open Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 6pm, Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 11am to 4pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday. Book online through Square, or call 727-641-1731 and we will find you a time.
